The National Repertory Orchestra is putting together the World Cuisine Wine Dinner, a fabulous evening on Tuesday, October 21st, to be held at the Blue River Bistro in Breckenridge
Chef Foy Maloy will be pairing up an elegant four course dinner with wines specially chosen for your enjoyment.
“This event is a fundraiser for the National Repertory Orchestra’s programs” said Director of Development, Julie Chandler “We deeply appreciate Jay’s continued dedication and generosity to the orchestra. Events such as this help us to provide the community with a fabulous summer music festival and enriching cultural experiences” CEO Doug Adams added “Last time the Blue River Bistro did a dinner for the NRO, it was one of the best meals I have ever had in Breckenridge – and I expect this dinner to be the same!”
The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) is a full fellowship orchestral training program that takes place in Summit County every summer. The mission is to prepare young musicians, operations personnel and administrative staff for careers in orchestral music – be it on stage or behind the scenes. Every year, more than 800 of the country’s most talented young musicians, between the ages of 18 and 28, participate in the audition process. Of those who audition, 89 musicians are chosen from the country’s top music schools and conservatories to come to Summit County to perform for appreciative audiences. Now in its 53rd year, the more than 4,400 NRO alumni can be found in virtually every orchestra in North America, and several throughout the world. The National Repertory Orchestra is Nurturing the Future of Music!
Tickets to the World Cuisine Wine Dinner are $75 per person. The price includes a four course wine pairing dinner tax, gratuity and a great evening.
