“Free Community Concert” Information

Jeffrey Zhou started his formal piano training at the age of five in 2008.  From the very beginning, he demonstrated the passion for music and the ability to learn complex piano techniques and pieces with ease and speed.  Since then, Jeffrey has participated in many piano competitions and placed regularly. His most recent win came at the Schmitt Music Piano Competition, Advanced Competitive Division II.  In addition to piano recitals, he has experience performing with the Colorado Inside the Orchestra program.  Through his hard work and with the help of his teacher, Mrs. June Haun, his level of piano competency continues to grow, so is his passion for piano and music in general.

Jeffrey lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and attends Kent Denver School as a 6th grade student.  Jeffrey loves football and is a big fan of Tom Brady and New England Patriots.  In addition to piano, Jeffrey competes regularly in local and Rocky Mountain regional junior golf tournaments.  At school, his favorite subjects are math, science and social studies. Just as many other boys, Jeffrey likes to play Minecraft and Magic: The Gathering games.
