She attended St. Olaf College and earned a Bachelor of Music in percussion performance with distinction, and recently completed her Master of Music in percussion performance at The Boston Conservatory. While on the East Coast, she was a member of the New England Philharmonic, the timpanist for the Refugee Orchestra Project, performed for the new music initiative “Times Two Series” in Boston. Last summer she also performed in Inuksuit – a percussion piece written for the outdoors – at the Tippett Rise Music Festival, Bravo! Vail Music Festival, and Aspen Music Festival.
