Conductor and educator, Carl St. Clair joins the orchestra for a very special concert featuring our NRO fellows concerto competition.  This is a concert that is sure to amaze that includes the ground-breaking Symphony No. 1 by Gustav Mahler.  In his first symphony, Mahler took all the sounds he heard around him in the Austrian Alps (sounds similar to our own Summit County) and put them inside the orchestra.  Be sure to listen for the birds, the echoes and the wind through the mountains during the concert.  READ FULL PROGRAM NOTES
