Conductor and educator, Carl St. Clair joins the orchestra for a very special concert featuring our NRO fellows concerto competition.  This is a concert that is sure to amaze that includes the ground-breaking Symphony No. 1 by Gustav Mahler.  In his first symphony, Mahler took all the sounds he heard around him in the Austrian Alps (sounds similar to our own Summit County) and put them inside the orchestra.  Be sure to listen for the birds, the echoes and the wind through the mountains during the concert.  READ FULL PROGRAM NOTES

Tickets are required to sit inside the venue, however, the garage doors at the rear of the Riverwalk Center will be open and we invite all without tickets to sit on the lawn for free. For lawn seating, you are encouraged to bring your own blankets and / or low profile folding chairs and to arrive early.  Weather permitting, fireworks will be presented by the Town of Breckenridge following the NRO’s performance.

Tickets for this performance have historically sold out very quickly. Your best chance at getting tickets is to do the following: 1) Before April 17, 2018 go HERE to set up a new account or to make sure you still have access to an existing account. 2) At noon on April 17, 2018 click the “BUY TICKETS” button on this page and purchase your tickets.

You can also purchase tickets by visiting the Riverwalk Center Ticket Office in person or by calling (970) 547-3100. The Riverwalk Center Ticket Office will be providing service to walk-in patrons first and then they will answer phone calls. However, buying online is by far the fastest and easiest way to go!

The National Repertory Orchestra plays exclusively on pianos provided by Schmitt Music.
