John earned his BA from Knox College in 1971 and his JD from the University of Denver College of Law in 1973. Ranked as an AV Preeminent attorney for 25 consecutive years until his retirement from the active practice of law, he specialized in the representation of governmental entities. His recognized expertise in local government law lends itself to his current practice of dispute resolution. John is the author of seven legal publications and presenter of over 100 CLE programs both local and national in scope.
Among John’s many professional and volunteer activities, he has served on the Boards of Directors of the Colorado Symphony Association (as Chair from 2010-2011), the League of American Orchestras, the Lamb Spring Archeological Preserve, and Knox College.
