Libby Bortz croppedLibby is originally from Upper New York State.  She has a Bachelor of Science of Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver. 

Libby has had a private practice in Psychiatric Social Work since 1978 and is on the Bio-medical Ethics Faculty of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.  She has also served as Adjunct Faculty and Field Instructor of the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver.  In 1994 she was honored for 24 years of outstanding service to the Littleton Housing Authority by naming of 111 unit building, the Libby Bortz Assisted Living Center.

Outside of work, Libby sits on the Littleton Housing Authority Board, the Arapahoe Community College Foundation Board, and the Board of Visitors of the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work.

Libby and her husband Mike have six children between them and both serve on the NRO Sustainers board.
