Audition FAQ’s

What do I bring to the audition?
You will be required to bring a one-page resume to give to the audition proctor and your audition excerpts (copies of excerpts will not be provided).

Do I need an accompanist for my solo?
No, you do not need an accompanist for the solo repertoire portion of your audition.

What should I expect at my audition?
All auditions have a live proctor in the room and each audition is video recorded.

Do I need to take a live audition?
No, the National Repertory Orchestra encourages the participation in a live audition. However, video recorded auditions will be accepted in the event that you are unable to participate in a live audition.

Video recorded auditions are required for the following applicants:
Assistant Conductor, Percussion, and Timpani

Friday, February 15, 2018
