We celebrate our opening concert with an American showcase honoring Leonard Bernstiein’s 100th birthday and his quintessential American Work, West Side Story. The program also features Bernstien’s class-mate, Samuel Barber’s Second Symphony and his stunningly beautiful Violin Concerto. Highlighting our American showcase is music from the film An American in Paris by George Gershwin. READ FULL PROGRAM NOTES
